The Mahon Point Style advisor service was launched in March 2009 as the first free personal shopping service offered by a shopping centre in Ireland.
The service was developed to generate increased sales for retailers and act as a unique selling point for the centre to help combat the opening of new Cork Shopping Centre – ‘Opera Lane’ in October 2009.
The key successes of this activity are the measurable impact of the service on retail sales and the high level of retailer satisfaction. For the period March – Dec 2009, the service generated sales of €229,201.
