Adopting an innovative strategy that rewarded existing Facebook fans whilst attracting new ones allowed Spirit to increase sign-ups, interaction and visits whilst promoting specific retailer products.
 
During the seven day period of activity the Whitewater SC Facebook page received an additional 400 visits on the previous week, a six-fold increase on wall posts and comments and 90+ new fans.
