The opening of UCI cinema in Whitewater heralded an opportunity to promote the centre to a wider audience by promoting the centre as a day out destination offering the full package of fashion, food and film.
Taking a tactical approach target markets were identified and the advertising message was tailored to create a connection with potential shoppers whilst promoting retailers available in Whitewater but not in the target market.
Utilising a combination of traditional outdoor and radio channels with new social media and on-street activity allowed Spirit to effectively blanket the target town on selected dates with the Whitewater brand.
