To celebrate 10 years of successful trading Liffey Valley wanted to reward its loyal shoppers while taking the opportunity to promote the brand to potential new shoppers. A program of events was devised to run over a 5 week period that would capture national attention and place Liffey Valley Shopping Centre at the forefront of shoppers’ minds.

The campaign included an extensive advertising and promotion campaign that was supplemented by high profile PR activity and a €10,000 incentre giveaway to end the celebrations on a high note.

Strong buy-in from retailers with extremely positive feedback. Some retailers reported a 20% increase from the previous week’s sales.

  • The 10th Birthday campaign saw the centre achieve a footfall increase of 2.3% from the previous week.

‘The weekend went really well and it was great for Next with one of the winners spending almost 50% of their winnings here on Sunday! Saturday’s trade was also up 4% from the week before so all round we are happy with the event.’
