In the wake of economic instability within the banking sector of Ireland, Credit Unions have emerged as a viable alternative for savings and loans. This new interest exposed a need for a more confident and harmonised voice, look and feel to each of the Credit Unions and how they communicate with existing and new customers.
Gurranabraher Credit Union in Cork is one of the largest in the country but has moved to expand its pool of customers with the introduction of its eServices offer. The eServices facility presents the Gurranabraher customer with a self service option to complete daily banking tasks from the comfort of their own homes or workplaces.
Spirit Marketing Group was commissioned to develop a new communications strategy and develop consistent branding that would allow the Credit Union to set itself apart from the banking sector and elevating it to the same level, while targeting its core customer base and entering new customer sectors. The new Colour Wheel was developed as a core element to the Credit Union’s brand, to underline its accessibility for all, the scope of service and the all important value of working for the community that underpins the very existence of this financial service.
